Our Story
Dragon Warrior Ramen Shop was born out of a deep appreciation for the rich culinary traditions of Japan. Inspired by the intricate flavors and cultural significance of Japanese cuisine, Chef Jason embarked on a journey to bring an authentic ramen experience to McAllen, Texas.
Born to inspire
The birth of his son marked a turning point in Chef Jason's life. With both father and son born in the Year of the Dragon, Chef Jason felt compelled to bring a piece of Japan to his hometown. He returned to his roots in McAllen, Texas with a desire to raise his family and share his passion for Japanese cuisine.

McAllen's First Ramen noodle Bar
In November 2017, Chef Jason opened Dragon Warrior Noodle, McAllen Texas's first Japanese Ramen bar where he first showcased his cooking talents and officially began honoring the culinary traditions that inspired him.
